I've been in the food and wine business for well over 20 years. I've worked for two wineries, two wine retailers a wine bar and a couple of restaurants. I am now the co-owner of Amphora Distribution, the newest wine wholesaler in Kansas. In the interest of disclosure, wines distributed by Amphora are reviewed on a separate blog.

Other interests of mine include reading (military, history and fiction), hunting, shooting, cooking and University of Georgia football.

I have a bachelor's degree in German with a certificate in Global Policies Studies from the University of Georgia (1992) and an associate's degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University (1994).
